Extraction Guide

Pour-Over

For pour-over coffee, we recommend a ratio of 1:16, meaning 1 gram of ground coffee for every 16 grams of water. This ratio promotes balanced extraction.

Coffee: 12 g

  • Grind: Medium-fine (texture similar to beach sand)

Water: 200 g

  • Temperature: 92-94 °C

Instructions:

  1. Heat the water and thoroughly wet the filter before adding the coffee.
  2. Pour 50 g of water over the 12 grams of ground coffee to saturate it completely and wait 40 seconds for the bloom.
  3. Make 3 pours of 50 g each every 30 seconds, pouring the water in circular motions, slowly finishing in the center.
  4. Allow 45 seconds for drainage after the last pour.
