COMMANDER
In 2005, the Braune family fulfilled their dream of setting up their own roastery. Bernd's experience, both behind the counter and in producing countries, made him realize that to fully appreciate the range of flavor profiles of a coffee, a quality grind is needed. He quickly noticed that there was no professional-grade portable grinder on the market. The electric grinders available at the time were heavy, expensive, and, above all, poorly suited for home use and travel.
As a result of his work alongside family and friends, Bernd managed to create an efficient, precise, convenient, easy-to-use, and, moreover, beautiful portable tool: the Comandante C40 hand grinder. The result? A perfect and homogeneous grind thanks to its sharp blades that cut the coffee beans instead of crushing them.
