Coffee: 15 g

  • Grind: medium or medium-fine (similar to table salt)

Water: 225 g

  • Temperature: 85 °C - 96 °C

Classic preparation method:

  1. Place the filter (paper or metal) in the cap and rinse it with hot water to remove residual flavors and preheat the AeroPress.
  2. Assemble the AeroPress and place it on your mug or vessel.
  3. Pour the ground coffee into the chamber.
  4. Add hot water in circular motions until you reach the desired amount. Stir gently to ensure all the coffee is in contact with the water.
  5. Let it infuse for 1:30 to 2:00 minutes.
  6. Insert the plunger and press gently until you hear a slight hiss, indicating that all the water has passed through the coffee.

Take a moment to appreciate the aromas, serve the coffee, and enjoy.

AEROPRESS

The AeroPress was created in 2005 by American Alan Adler, a former engineering professor at Stanford University and inventor of this plastic coffee maker, capable of brewing one of the best coffees in the world!

Unable to find a coffee maker that could brew a good cup of coffee for a single person, this serial inventor began working on his AeroPress, a simple and quick method that respects the spirit of slow coffee.
